Flow and Heat Transfer Past a Stretching/Shrinking Sheet Using Modified Buongiorno Nanoliquid Model

This paper studies the boundary layer flow and heat transfer characteristics past a permeable isothermal stretching/shrinking surface using both nanofluid hybrid flows (called modified Buongiorno nonliquid model). Using appropriate similarity variables, PDEs are transformed into ODEs to be solved numerically function bvp4c from MATLAB. It was found that solutions of resulting system have two branches, upper lower branch solutions, in certain range suction, nanofluids parameters. Both analytic numerical results obtained for skin friction coefficient, local Nusselt number, velocity temperature distributions, several values governing parameters considerably affecting characteristics.
